While our children face challenges not unlike what WE faced when we were growing up, there are far more sophisticated ways to control them than ever before.  And whether we are speaking of the pressure of peers or the clever conning done on the internet by individuals who profess to be the same age as our kids, but who are, in fact, adults preying on the innocent, our children are at great risk!

Our children, teens and pre-teens, need to become aware of the tactics being used by those who would exploit them.  They need to be able to recognize the genuine from the feigned.

THERE ARE THINGS OUR CHILDREN CAN LEARN TO PROTECT THEMSELVES FROM HARM!

In this day class, we will help them learn:

• To recognize individuals who are pretending to be someone they are not!
• How to trust their feelings.
• To hear the REAL messages beneath what is being said to them.
• To watch for key behaviors in those who are setting them up to be manipulated or harmed.
• Warning signs that indicate that a person is a controller.
• How to recognize and avoid situations where they would be vulnerable.
• What to do and who to trust when they sense they may be in trouble.

The course is intended to both forewarn and forearm our children.  Parents would be wise to learn these same things also.  We encourage you to attend this course with your children.
