Welcome to Behind the Dating Mask--Newsletter #1

We appreciate your interest in Behind the Dating Mask. For those of you who have attended our Behind the Dating Mask class, we are excited to say that we have completed the development of our online survey. As you are aware, during the past 18 months we have been developing an online survey called Behind the Dating Mask: A Dating Profile. This survey is for individuals who are in dating relationships. It has 240 items to help individuals assess their relationship. Those who take this profile will receive a 60-80 page report based on their responses to each item in the inventory (our response will be based upon how you respond to each question). You will also receive a summary response with four graphs describing the positive and negative things in your relationship.

We believe that individuals who take our dating profile will be more likely to identify potential problems in their relationships. They will also come to see the positive things that are necessary for a healthy relationship to exist. We are very excited about this new product. There is nothing like it on the internet because it gives you item by item feedback based on your answers.

In addition to our online survey we encourage you to send sign up for our free monthly newsletter (please send it to your friends as well). This newsletter will keep you apprised of all that we have going on at Behind the Dating Mask and GrowthClimate--our parent company.

CLASSES

Along with our survey we have developed a class that we call "Behind the Dating Mask." In this class we help individuals identify the patterns and profiles of unhealthy relationships. We help people identify the "red flags" to look for in their relationships. In addition, we teach individuals how to create healthy relationships by applying five principles to their relationships. This class has been taught in Idaho Falls, Logan, Bountiful, and here in Provo. We will soon be setting up classes in other parts of the country. Here is a brief description of our other classes

1) GrowthClimate Basics--This 14 hour class teaches GrowthClimate basic material. This is the foundation course for all that we teach. It has been taught at BYU continuing education classes for the past 15 years. We will have video and audio tapes of this class available for purchase on July 1st, 2002.

2) Dating Smarts--Learn to be the kind of person that you would want to date. Develop your Relationship IQ.

3) Parenting with Principle--Learn how to raise children of character and improve your child's self-worth.

4) Marriage, Intimacy, and Relationships--This class is for married couples--Learn how 5 principles can dramatically improve the communication and intimacy in your marriage.

5) Workshops--Our workshops are where the rubber meets the road. In our workshops you will role play and practice how to solve individual and relationship problems.

CERTIFICATION AND TRAINING

For individuals who are interested in learning to teach any of these classes we have a certification training package. Our goal is to create an army of individuals who want to help society. Those who become certified in teaching our classes can prepare to teach most of our classes and will represent our company. They will be qualified to teach GrowthClimate courses wherever they live. Those who certify will be given the chance to make money by teaching, selling products, and marketing our other classes. Directions-- If you are driving on I-15 you will need to get off at UVSC/University Parkway exit. Take University Parkway east until you come to 2230 N.--There you will take a left heading east (The Olive Garden is on that corner).Then you will proceed east through 2 lights. At the third light (North Canyon Rd.) take a left. Our building is the first in a series of buildings on the West side of the road (these buildings are 1/4 of a mile from the light). We are located on the 2nd floor of the first building. Above us is the Point du Ciel wedding reception center.
