This course is a SIMPLIFIED VERSION of our Flag Ship Course—GrowthClimate BASICS: The Anatomy of Relationships.  It was originally written for latency age children (6-12) but has been found to be effective with adolescents as well as adults. 

This ten hour course targets the implementation of principle in relationships, not only with peers, but with parents and family members as well.  Rich with real-life experience, it is the core material threaded through the education process used with children.  It is also very supportive for youth who are in individual and group therapy.

Your children will begin to sense the importance of adopting character traits that let them succeed no matter WHAT is happening around them.  They will find excitement and a sense of personal fulfillment and freedom—freedom which is an outgrowth of applied principle rather than on the taking of or the demanding of license to do what they want!

In this training, your children/youth will learn:

• How the mind works.
• How beliefs are the authorizers of not only their good behavior but also their bad behavior.  They will learn how to change their beliefs so that their behavior changes.
• They will learn about the climates of the freedom, fairness and force mode worlds along with fairness and force mode manipulation and control tactics.
• They will learn to recognize emotional fingerprints.  They will learn that emotions are neither good nor bad, but rather that they are alarms to alert them to choose wisely.
• They will learn about self worth and how “Self esteem rises in direct proportion to the amount of responsibility an individual take for his/her own actions.
• Finally, they will learn about FIVE RELATIONSHIP PRINCIPLES that build Character—Commitment to Integrity, Affirming Worth, Growth, Agency & Trusting Their Instincts.
• These Freedom principles will not only help then communicate appropriately with their peers, but they will also empower them to say NO to bullying behavior. 

These concepts are taught by using stories, games, artwork, rhymes, and role plays.  Many parents have sat in on this class with their children.  They report an increased understanding of the material for themselves, and that it opens a dialog with their children.  They were able to talk about what their children felt, profile the character traits of friends, and reinforce self-worth.  Parents also reported that they were more at ease in allowing their children to make age-appropriate decisions.

This course is schedulable on request for CHILDREN ages 8-11, or for ADOLESCENTS ages 13-18. 

Parents are encouraged to attend with the children.
